Kokoda Expeditions
Kokoda Expeditions are led by expert PNG Koiari Trek Leaders. Our leaders are direct descendents of the famous 'fuzzy-wuzzy angels' who were born and raised in villages along the track. They have learned the basics of the Kokoda campaign from Charlie Lynn over a 17 year period and have earned their stripes as leaders in expeditions led by Charlie during this time.
All PNG expedition leaders are qualified in emergency 1st Aid and communications. They are proud of their ability to get trekkers safely across the track and to share their cultural history with them along the way.
All trekkers on Kokoda Expeditions receive a personal track guide and diary compiled by Charlie Lynn. This has detailed information on the track and a summary of the battlesites along it.
Kokoda Expeditions are limited to 15 trekkers per group.
Personal PNG Carriers
Personal carriers are available to carry your backpack for you. This is a recommended option if you are not an experienced backpacker. The 2008 cost for a personal PNG carrier for the duration of the trek is $530.
NOTE:
The above prices includes the cost of Public Liability Insurance protection with Llyods of London. Our Adventure Kokoda policy has a limit of A$10 million per claim.
